About Living with Children

If you are a dreamer, come in.
If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar,
A hope-er, a pray-er, a magic bean buyer . . .
If you’re a pretender, come sit by my fire,
For we have some flax golden tales to spin.
Come in!
Come in!

– Shel Silverstein

What is “Living, with Children”? A collection of thoughts about life and family.

Our family has encountered what so many others have: loss, medical diagnoses and difficulties, the joys and struggles of foster care, adoption, etc. Since beginning our foster care and adoption journey, we are learning to live with and adjust to childhood trauma and what “normal” feels like.

Please join us on our journey. Thank you.
